The Shop Floor board and TV mode
Updated September 23, 2026
What this does
Service Board → Shop Floor shows every bay from Settings → Bays as a card: Available or Occupied, the work order and vehicle in it, and which technician is clocked in. It is the shop's live picture and needs no maintenance beyond assigning bays on work orders and clocking in.
Reading it
A bay is Occupied when a work order is assigned to it and that job isn't finished. The card shows the job's title, customer, and vehicle, and the clocked-in technician if any. Available bays are empty.
Below the bays, Bay Status lists each technician as Clocked in (with their current job or General) or Not clocked in.
TV mode
Shop Floor → TV is the same board laid out for a wall screen: larger cards in a grid sized to your bay count, a clock, and an automatic refresh every 30 seconds. Open it in a browser on the shop TV and leave it; no interaction needed. It respects the same sign-in, so use a shop account that has shop_floor.view and nothing sensitive.
Common problems
A bay shows Occupied with a finished job. The work order is still in an active status. Move it to Ready for Pickup or Delivered.
Bays are in the wrong order or named wrong. Fix them under Settings → Bays; the board follows.
The TV shows a login screen. The session expired. Sign in again with the display account.
