Organizations (multi-shop)

What this does

Settings → Organization groups shops that belong to the same owner. An organization has a name and a URL slug; each shop is added to it, and members of more than one shop switch between them from the shop switcher. Books, customers, settings, and team lists stay separate per shop; the organization is the grouping, not a merge.

Before you start

settings.organization (Owner). Each shop you want in the group already created, and your login a member of each.

Steps

Create Organization with an Organization Name and URL Slug. The current shop joins it. From another shop's Organization page, pick the organization to add that shop, or remove a shop from the group here.

Common problems

I can't see the other shop after adding it. Your login must be a member of that shop with a role; the organization doesn't grant access on its own. Have that shop's owner add you under Settings → Team.

Reports across shops. There aren't any; each shop's reports are its own. Export CSVs and combine them.
