Your public SMS opt-in page

What this does

Carriers and Twilio require a public page describing your texting program before they'll let a business number send at volume. LogMyRepair.app publishes one for every shop at /sms-opt-in/<your shop slug>, filled from your shop profile. It's also what a customer's consent refers to when you record it.

What's on it

How Customers Opt In (at the counter, by texting START, on the booking form), What Kinds of Messages Are Sent (estimates, job updates, invoices, reminders, review requests), Sample Messages, Message Frequency, Message & Data Rates, How to Opt Out and Get Help (STOP and HELP), Support with your shop phone and email, and Privacy.

What you do with it

Link it from your website's contact page and from the footer of any email that mentions texting. Give the URL to Twilio when registering your number's messaging campaign; it's the page they'll check. Keep your shop phone and email current on Settings → Shop Profile, since the page reads them.

Common problems

The page shows the wrong phone number. It reads the shop profile. Fix it there.

Twilio rejected our campaign registration. Their reviewers look for the opt-in method, message types, frequency, and STOP/HELP language; all are on the page. Send them the exact URL, not a screenshot.
