Navigation
Updated September 23, 2026
What this does
The sidebar starts with every section in a default order. Settings → Navigation lets the shop reorder sections and items and hide the ones it doesn't use, for every member. Each member can also arrange their own view with Customize menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Steps
Shop-wide (settings.shop): Settings → Navigation. Drag sections and items into the order you want; the eye icon hides or shows an entry. Save navigation applies to everyone. Reset to default discards the shop's arrangement.
Personal: Customize menu in the sidebar opens the same editor for your own view. You can reorder anything and hide more, but an entry the shop has hidden is locked ("Hidden by the shop — cannot be re-shown"), so a manager's decision holds.
How it's resolved
Defaults, then the shop's arrangement, then yours, then permissions. Permissions come last: a screen a role can't open never appears no matter how the menu is arranged, and showing an entry in the menu never grants access. A section that ends up empty is dropped.
Common problems
An item is missing for one person. Their role lacks the permission, or they hid it in their own view. Check Settings → Roles first, then have them Reset their personal menu.
I hid something and now nobody can find it. Un-hide it here; personal views can't override a shop hide.
