Service options for online booking

What this does

Service options are the menu on your public booking page. Each is a name and a short description; the customer picks one and it becomes the appointment's title. Keep the list short and in the customer's words ("Oil Change", "Check Engine Light", "Brake Inspection") rather than your internal canned-job names.

Before you start

settings.booking — Owner and General Manager.

Steps

  1. Settings → Booking, under Service Options.
  2. Add an option: Service Name (what the customer sees) and a one-line Description ("Full synthetic oil change").
  3. Save. It appears on the booking page immediately.
  4. To retire an option without losing history, deactivate it; to remove it outright, delete it. Existing appointments keep the name they were booked with.

What the customer's choice does

The chosen service becomes the appointment's Title and nothing more; no price or lines are attached. At check-in, add the matching canned job on the work order.

Common problems

A service I added isn't on the page. It's inactive, or online booking itself is off.

I want to show prices on the booking page. Put the price in the description ("From $89"). Prices aren't a separate field on service options.
